We are thrilled to announce a major strategic partnership here at the World Hydrogen 2026 Summit & Exhibition! ZTT has officially signed a Joint R&D agreement with our UK client, HyWaves, to co-develop ZTT’s Alkaline Water Electrolysis systems integrated with the advanced HyWaves H2Top Power Supply System.

This collaboration builds on a solid foundation of success. In 2025, we successfully delivered and commissioned the first alkaline electrolyzer deployed in the UK at the renowned Cranfield University. The system has smoothly passed small-scale testing, proving its reliability and performance.

Now, the project is entering an exciting new phase: key technology verification for larger-scale capacity.

Our joint efforts will focus on tackling one of the industry's most pressing challenges—enhancing the adaptability of alkaline electrolyzers to the fluctuations of renewable energy. By optimizing system integration and control strategies, we aim to significantly improve efficiency and further drive down the Levelized Cost of Hydrogen.

A big thank you to our partners at HyWaves and Cranfield University for their trust and collaboration. Let’s power the hydrogen revolution together! ️
